Student learn skills of science, math, reading and writing, homework assistance, compass learning, and a web-based program.
Students engage in Structural Enrichment Programs: arts and culture, health and wellness, character education and life skills, dance, drama, music, choir, chess, and tutoring.
Lights on Afterschool program is a national celebration to recognize the work of the after school programs nationally in October.
USA Cooking Camp is designed to make cooking and nutrition fun for all ages. Students worked with professional chefs, experiencing hands on food preparation and the benefit of eating what was prepared.

Students and Families enjoy a meal prepared by staff and parents during the Thanksgiving Celebration.
The annual Black History Celebration allows students to display a various array of talents in recognition of Black History. Students perform poetry readings, drama, song, and dance for parents, staff and peers.
The students of First Chance bring in the spring season with a day of fun! Students participate in many different activities that allow them to kick off spring break with a BANG!!
Participants in the First Chance Summer Program are given the opprotunity to travel to different amusement parks and spend the day riding roller coasters, enjoying the water parks, watching performances, playing games and spending time with friends.
Families and children come together to share in a family fun night with games.
First Chance Staff members contribute to the community by donating food and volunteering services to the local Soup Kitchen.
The Cal Ripken Baseball league will impact the lives of youth in so many ways. All children deserve to reap the many benefits of playing baseball such as: friendship, self-control, confidence, alertness, initiatives, conditioning, sportsmanship, teamwork, life lessons, and fun.
